About this course

The R Essentials: A Hands-on Introduction to R Programming at Dr. Omics Edu is a live, mentor-led online course in bioinformatics programming and computing tools. It is a hands-on start to R built around biological data. You learn on real biological data and finish with a working script, workflow or pipeline built on biological data that you can show to an employer, a guide or an admissions panel.
In this course you move through r and rstudio setup, data types, vectors and data frames and importing and cleaning data, then apply them in a hands-on project. The course runs live online across 1 module, so you can ask your mentor questions as you work. It is an intermediate-level course, suited to learners who already know the basics.
