About this course

The GWAS Analysis: From Genetic Variants to Disease Associations at Dr. Omics Edu is a live, mentor-led online course in genome-wide association studies (GWAS). It explains how to move from raw genotype data to disease-associated loci. You learn on real biological data and finish with a GWAS analysis from genotype data to associated loci that you can show to an employer, a guide or an admissions panel.
In this course you move through gwas concepts and study design, genotype data formats and quality control and population stratification and pca, then apply them in a hands-on project. The course runs live online across 1 module, so you can ask your mentor questions as you work. It is an intermediate-level course, suited to learners who already know the basics.
