About this internship
The NGS Internship (3 Months) at Dr. Omics Edu is a 3-month live, mentor-supervised internship in next generation sequencing (NGS) and genomics under NEP 2020. It compresses the advanced NGS skill set into six modules over three months. You work on a real dataset and a defined research question, and you finish with a genomics or transcriptomics project from raw reads to interpreted results that you can show to an admissions panel, a guide or an employer.
In this internship you move through command-line NGS workflow design, quality control and alignment at scale and transcriptome and variant analysis, then apply them in your own project. The programme runs live online with 6 modules, so you can ask your mentor questions as you work. It is an advanced-level internship, best suited to learners who already know the fundamentals.
