Course Description

  • Metagenome Analysis: Learn data retrieval and quality control techniques, as well as trimming and importing for metagenome analysis.
  • Diversity Analysis: Perform quality assessment and diversity analysis, exploring taxonomy and visualization using Krona plots.
  • Phylogenetic Analysis: Construct comprehensive phylogenetic trees using MEGA software.
  • Microarray Data Analysis: Master microarray technology and conduct differential expression studies using R.
  • Pathway Network Analysis: Utilize tools like stringDB and KEGG Mapper for pathway network analysis.
  • Data Visualization: Learn various visualization techniques like heatmaps and volcano plots for effective data interpretation.
